To find out all the supported achitectures on your system, type 'gcc --target-help' and scroll down a couple of pages. Here is what mine shows: -march=CPU/-mtune=CPU generate code/optimize for CPU, where CPU is one of: i386, i486, pentium, pentiumpro, pentium4, nocona, core, core2, k6, athlon, k8, generic32, generic64 Ok, thanks again. I finally settled with ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-optimize --enable-arch=core2 QTDIR=/usr/share/qt3 then I did the '-c' magic, then make, then sudo make install (no errors) and the install from cvs worked without problems... I believe But how do I know which Muse version I am running now? On Help>about Muse it reads: 1.0rc3 That's the tarball, not the cvs, right? Or is it the same? VM |
