We should talk sometime. Not knowing your vintage, I don't know who you might know that I once knew. Have lost touch for the most part except my best mate who still resides and runs his business out of (for the American folk) "Foster", where I also attended high school. But I cut my teeth and sowed my oats in good old Melbourne town, playing guitfiddle in such dives as "Isabella's" (which I believe was knocked down, cnr of Little Russell and Collins I think) And the Music stores on Russell St which I worked and frequented (Then, Davis Music and The Brothers (something) 2 doors up! ALL boring stuff if not from Melbourne and approaching "middle age" (If I live to be 100 that is!! :) Knowing a fellow Aussie has been an integral part of this fine piece of software and it's viability in the "commercial" mainstream does indeed make me proud of your efforts though. Never have said it but there it is! Hopefully, soon, I shall be able to re-enter this world. Sad to say, as I started on some serious projects, I had to resort to running Sonar again as the time I need to keep a stable set of open source apps rolling has not been available. It is my position that there is room for both, shown to me by a good friend (unixwiz.net) who is a *nix giant, and a MS MVP. Cheers! Russell |
