[Lmod-users] Lmod backwards compatibility between 9.4 and 8.7

Hi everyone,

Is Lmod backwards compatibility between 9.4 and 8.7? I am enquiring about this due to the recent CVE (CVE-2026-85013 ) with version 8.7. The ChangeLog (or release notes) in Github seems to imply that it is generally backwards compatible (with some change in behaviour), but I just wanted to check here.
