Hi, As October I use LMMS with a realtime module. I just reboot my computer because I had the bad idea to set a arpeggio with a very short time. My computer didn't crash but all cpu was used by lmms so it was unusable... I guess running lmms without realtime capability would solve my problems but I don't like that. I had an idea, what about a "safe-mode" option recomended for realtime use. This option, when checked, would forbidden some values. A sort of "knob barriers" For example : limit arpeggio time to upper than 30 ms limit octave number to 3 for chords and arpegios and all things that can cause xruns when you use realtime... -- Stephane Thomas <st...@ne...> |
