Hi! Don't forget a lot of VST effects can handle (MIDI) CC's as well. If you'd use some kind of low-pass filter effect, you probally would want to automate stuff like cutoff & resonance using CC's. I really want to start using LMMS, but first i'll take a look at the documentation. Not everything is obvious (to me) at first sight. I'd love to contribute "something" to LMMS in the future. I think it's awesome that this kind of software is being developed for Linux. I'am not sure what i can do (i'am not really a coder), but the wiki page suggests a few things i might be able to do..
