Hard to cast a vote here, since I have my own personal opinions on where
time could be best spent and allow developers to dedicates their time as
they see fit :) ...

On the EQ topic... one thing I'd like to see in general is an equalizer (or
any FX plugin) that leverages sliders instead of knobs for the UI!

But on the topic of "time spent", if we want to talk
about prioritizing what the project could really benefit from my request,
my request probably wouldn't be any of the fun stuff. There's some bugs I'd
really like to see tackled before 1.2 that I think could bring better
quality to the project in general! :)
