Hello Gerhard, This can be done, you have to keep some things in mind though. The band has to be very tight (clicktrack) in the first place. Then your choice of recording software. I'm using qtractor at the moment. Next thing is the sequence in which you record/export. What works bets for me is to create a beat/base in LMMS, export and import it in qtractor, record all the overdubs, export and import those as samples in LMMS and then do some production with effects and maybe some extra instruments/samples within LMMS. I'm not very experienced yet but I'm slowly getting there: http://nettowa-ku.net/2009/04/20/money-or-love Ok, it's an electrorock track but I'm intending to use LMMS also for my own indierock band. Good luck! Jeremy Gerhard Prade wrote: > Hello List, > > can i use LMMS like Magix Music Maker, and draw samples simply by drag & > drop the tracks?
