After some googling it looks like problem with autoconf. (see below). Can anybody who is able to compile lmms post your versions of autoconf and automake? According to http://markmail.org/message/uryw24v7z7bfxgyr : autoconf 2.52 do define some macros that was before defined by automake (the lack was in autoconf). The problem come from the fact that these macros are expanded twice and the error you got is the autoconf detection of this problem. An utility have been provided for upgrading (autoupdate), but it seems to not be as efficient as needed. I can affirm that using autoupdate does not solve this. Downgrading to autoconf 2.50 as suggested there gives another errors. > Hmm I've come across similar autoconf-related errors but normally if it's this we'd have something else in between the following 2 lines: > > > acinclude.m4:344: error: m4_defn: undefined macro: _m4_divert_diversion > > acinclude.m4:344: the top level > > And that something is the key to the problem :) Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas for this one as it provides absolutely no clue afaict. > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > _______________________________________________ > LMMS-devel mailing list > LMM...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/lmms-devel > |
