I am running 3.5.8 on a Linux i7 Laptop. I have the Enable Small Buffers checked and fast updates on the AWS Servers I use. I have noticed that my Jitter Buffer is usually green but like clockwork once every second or so it pulses to red then drops back to green. My ping is about 16 and overall delay is around 40ms. Even if I disable Auto and move the Jitter Buffer sliders all the way up the pulsing continues. All my Jack and Qt files are up to date. I believe this is contributiing to or causiing some noise and drop outs I am getting. Any thoughts?

If you are using wifi start by hooking up a wired connection.
Are you using an audio converter box or the internal audio of your computer?
It could be a background task which would be to find, but it could also be out in the network somewhere.
Try using PingPlotter to see if your network connection has a lot of jitter.

Thanks for the response. I am hard Wired. I doubt it is the network as I recall having this issue from another location last week. I do suspect some task on the PC or an issue with The Behringer USB Mixer or Drivers. In the past on Windows there was an app called DPC Latency Checker which was great to help identify drivers or services on Windows that were causing Latency Spikes which is what I suspect is happening. I found a recurring 1 second spike caused by the battery charging system in years past on Windows, This app only works on Windows though and have not yet found one for Linux.

Hi Shesakillatwo,
Can you roll back to 3.5.6 and tell me if you still see the problem ?
