I can connect. But I can send a chat but not see reply
I also cannot see the 'players' . The main screen just says 'trying to connect' . But I can hear them playing and they can hear me and know who I am !
While I've not seen this particular issue before, it feels like some weird network thing that may be temporary. So if you've not done so already just disconnect, reboot and try again.
If that doesn't work, can you connect to other servers (empty ones or not) and hear yourself play?

Yes, usually a network routing issue, often a Port Forwarding problem with the local ISP.
Chris, can you please elaborate on that? Some of my choir members have seen this issue. What should they tell their ISP?
