The Jamulus client seems to have 3 screens on MacOS - the main screen (titled "Jamulus") with mixer controls for all the participants, the "Settings" screen (showing technical parameters such as buffer sizes) and "Connection Setup" (showing the various online servers). They are all useful so I want to be able to jump between them. Normally some flavor of tabbing should work in MacOS but I can't find any combination that works. Please advise? (The only way that works for me is to go to right click on. the Jamulus icon in the dock, select "Show all windows" and then select the one required.)

I think I do not fully understand . My usual setup has always 3 windows (main, settings, chat) open as in the screenshot. The connection setup closes when you connect, however in general you do not need it continuously open.
It is not a good idea to keep the Connections Setup window open all the time. It causes considerable Internet traffic that is not necessary except when you are actively looking for a server.

Thanks Vincenzo, I think you do understand - it's just that I like to keep the window I am working on maximized (especially on a small MacBook Pro) and then Command-Tab to other contexts when I am interested in their information displayed. This works well with almost all software that I use - I can cycle around all the windows as I want, using a key combination. I've been working like this for decades with Windows and Macs - it's a standard GUI capability but I can't find a way to do this with Jamulus' windows other than mouse-down to the Jamulus icon, select Show All Windows and then select the one I am interested in by mouse. Very clunky compared with a keystroke.
Thanks DonC, you're right the Connections Setup window is probably not necessary, but the Settings window is useful to see what the technical issues are when we hit problems - I'd like to flip over to it at will when we hit some sound issues - and then flip back.
I guess "it is what it is" ... but your responsiveness is great and much appreciated

On a Mac running Mojave or later, Jamulus supports Tabs, which is particularly useful if you’re running multiple instances of Jamulus: Always enable Tabs for applications - https://support.apple.com/en-ie/guide/mac-help/mchla4695cce/mac In Jamulus, under the View menu, choose Show Tab Bar
Today, Jamulus has 4 windows: Settings, Chat, Mixer, and Connection Setup. AFAIK, there's no ability to tab among them. So I turn on Tabs, which puts the Settings, Chat, and Mixer tabs in a single window (to which I can bring focus with Cmd-Tab), while Connection Setup remains separate (it's essentially a popup/popover window), but isn't left open. Using tabs is particulary handy when I'm running 4-5 instances of Jamulus at one time, since the windows for each instance become tabs in the parent window.
I assume that there's a Cmd-Tab combo that allows tab-switching or window switching in Safari - maybe I'll log a feature request to add that to Jamulus.

Thanks for pointing this out Chris: you're talking about the functionality that I'm looking for, but it doesn't seem to work right. In the support.apple.com page you pointed me to it says "Move between tabs: ...You can also press Control-Tab or Control-Shift-Tab to go to the next or previous tab." It's that Control-Tab function I'm looking for but it doesn't work on MacOS 11.2.1 - it does nothing. I use this function all the time when on other apps with multiple tabs.
