I'm wondering if the fact that I downloaded the recommended PC interface software accidentally before downloading any drivers for my actual interface messed it up. I can't get it to say any input is happening. What I really need is customer service on the phone but they don't seem to have that. I have major ADHD and spent tons of money on all of this and now I can't get it to work. I'm in jazz school and I need this

When you say " downloaded the recommended PC interface software accidentally before downloading any drivers" I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but do you mean your setup isn't working in general, or that it's just not working for Jamulus?

Hi Madeleine,
First, don't panic.
It should make no difference in which order you loaded the software.
When you open the Settings menu, have you selected your interface in the Device drop down?
In Jamulus, to hear anything or see any input you need to be connected to a server.
I would start by connecting to a server where many people are playing to see if you can hear them, and set your headphone volume.
Then connect to an empty server and see if you can hear yourself and set your microphone volume so that when you play/sing loudly you have both yellow "leds" lit, but none of the red ones.
If that doesn't help let us know.
With your equipment you should have no problems.

Hi Madeleine, where you from?
The best method to help you is to use remote software, such as Teamviewer and a Whatsapp (voice) connection at the same time.
i want to help you, but then you will have to trust me
I'm Dutch, but I don't know if that's a good recommendation . :-)
