I'm running Windows 10. I've succeeded in running both the 64 bit version (installed using Jamulus-64-installer.exe) and the old version (installed using Jamulus-3.4.4-installer.exe). Both installers create a program named Jamulus and it is hard to keep track of what's what, not to mention that the installer won't work if the other version of Jamulus is running. Would it be possible and sensible to give the 64 bit executable program a different name and icon?

Hm, I did not create a "Jamulus-64-installer.exe" installer. Where did you get this? On Sourceforge there are only 32 bit versions of Jamulus available for Windows.

Whoops - the Jamulus-64-installer.exe was not described as a 64 bit version, uut rather a version with a 64 buffer delay giving a buffer delay of 2.67 ms. I downloaded it from somewhere in this forum. It works although I haven't been able to determine if it reduces latency without too much degradation in quality.

Ok, then it makes sense. This 64 samples version is just a version for early testing. The idea is to put the support for 64 samples in the regular Jamulus software so that there are not two different versions.

I will start working on this right now. It is hard to give you a release date when it will be ready. It depends on how many problems I have to solve during implementation. If you are interested in the progress, you can take a look at the Git commits at Github: https://github.com/corrados/jamulus/commits/master.

Would you have any idea how long it will be till a regular version with support for 64 samples is available?
