ogg_theora_decoder: unable to open /home/amias/Pictures/FxCamera

Failed to open file - I tried:

LANGUAGE=en LANG=en /usr/bin/mplayer -quiet -osdlevel 0 -vo png:z=1:alpha -noframedrop -ao pcm:fast:nowaveheader -mc 0 "/home/amias/Pictures/FxCamera" </dev/null

Maybe you are missing a library in mplayer (or it is not a valid media file) ?

    It looks like the LiVES working directory has been removed, most likely you have your system set to clean /tmp when you log off. You can try deleting your ~/.lives file and then selecting a new working directory via the setup wizard.

    this was the second time i ran it after installing with apt-get , the first time i didnt load any layers or change any settings.

    the tmp dir is in my home directory and has never been touched by another program

    Please can you try upgrading to the latest release (1.3.10) from the PPA, and see if the problem persists.
