#138 LiVES 1.3.4 Error opening mpg file

As Summary says i got some problems while opening a mpg video, in the terminal i read (try to translate from my italian version of lives): "Reproduction's speed not found or not valid! Using default fps of 25.000 fps."

I'm sure that the mpg is a 25 fps video @ 720x576 or, at last, these are the details that i can see in the properties tab of the file.

How can i fix?

Ok i solved the problem thx to this post:

I reinstalled ffmpeg (from repository) and mplayer (MPlayer-1.0rc3 version, downloaded from a site finded with a google search)

I don't think there is anything that can be done to fix this. Some files simply do not report their framerate correctly.

If the framerate is wrong after loading, you can adjust it from Tools->Change playback speed.

If the file has audio, you may find you need to adjust the video time to fit the audio time. In future LiVES may offer the option to do this automatically.

One other thing, you must make sure you have the English language version of mplayer installed (you can use Italian alsom but English must be there.) I think this is installed by default though.
