LiteMessage is a simple, lightweight console messaging program. It is developed in Java and runs in the console. It is currently very early in development. Some of the features currently implemented include:

Future planned features include:

• Message encryption
• File Transfers
• GUI

Other features not listed will be implemented as needed. After weighing various factors, it has been decided that a GUI will be implemented. Initially I was hesitant to implement one, as a lot of the spirit of LiteMessage lies with it's console functionality. At the moment, there are no plans to completely replace console functionality, but that may change in the future. Checkout the Project Roadmap.

For anybody interested in taking a look under the hood, the source code is included with every release. You will also need to download the MTools library, which is available in the Files section. For the most up to date code check out the GitHub page. The MTools GitHub can be found here.
