Project Roadmap

The currently planned features will be implemented in this order: Contact system -> message encryption -> file transfer system.

The initial version of the contact system has been implemented as of January 14, 2022. It now dynamically saves contacts when you message them.

More and more, it seems to make sense developing a GUI front end for the program. Because of this, one will get implemented at some point. I'm just not sure when. There are certain limitations that I feel would be easier to implement in a GUI at this point. Most of the issues come down to concurrency and the console input stream being temporarily tied up in places where it is no longer needed, and then having to waste lines. Or worse, having the input stream locked up while other processes are happening. There are some other issues, but most of them are similar to these two problems.
