Hello,
I cannot install DesktopListView on Windows 10. The installation aborts with the error message
.NET Framework 4.7 or a later update is already installed on this computer.
Is there a solution for this?
Hi, sorry you are having issues. My computer configuration has changed since I wrote that software, so I had issues too. But I did get it to work and here's what I did...
The first window (that I get) says that my computer already has either that version of .net or a newer version already installed. So just click the "Close" button.
Then it wants to install the x64 and x86 versions of the C++ runtime. On those windows always select the checkbox that says you agree with the terms and conditions then click the "Install" button. Both of mine failed, but you have to go through the process this way...
So after everything failing, a link was put on my desktop and the program ran fine. And just so you know, in my case, I'm no longer using that version of the .Net runtime because I have a newer version installed now.
Hope this helps.
