EVEN for a remote that works fine with > an existing conf file?? irrecord thinks it has found an RC-6 remote. Probably none of your remotes use the RC-6 protocol. The Pinnacle uses a serial protocol and can only be recorded with the --force flag (I already have a config file for it here). The Philips remotes probably use RC-5 and can be recorded by using the RC-5 template file found in remotes/generic/RC-5 of the lirc package. Christoph |
