I am writing an application that is driven by lirc using the lirc_client library. At some point my application fires (fork/exec/wait) off another application which is driven by lirc. The problem is that all of the lirc commands (keypresses) that I issue to the second application get buffered up for the first application and when the second application finishes, the first application gets a rush of lirc commands on it's next lirc_nextcode(). I suppose I could rewrite the first application to read the keypresses for the second application and drive it that way, but it would be nice to have a function in lirc_client to flush the buffer of lirc commands before the next lirc_nextcode(). Maybe it exists, I couldn't find it. b. --=20 Brian J. Murrell |
