Every receiver module I've seen (a handful salvaged from equipment, plus the packaged one sold by RadioShack in the US) has been active-low, rather than active-high. Assuming you've build the serial port circuit, I've noticed lirc_serial will default to active-high if you load the kernel module with nothing connected to the port it's watching. So, you might have a wiring problem, maybe reversed +Vcc and signal-out pins? Or lirc_serial could be watching the wrong port. -- Jordan. |
