Hi, I have a ProVideo 951 with a remote control, Linux 2.4.18, LIRC 0.6.5. I have the proper PV951 config file installed but the LIRC doesn't seem to work (irw doesn't output anything etc). When I run irrecord I get the following messages: Hold down an arbitrary button. irrecord: decoding failed for all remotes irrecord: decoding failed for all remotes 1 x 2100553 [2100553,2100553] .irrecord: decoding failed for all remotes 1 x 2100553 [2100553,2100553] the output is different each time even if I keep pressing the same key on the RC and definitely looks like a random garbage. Eventually it quits with irrecord: gap not found, can=B4t continue I looked into /var/log/messages and found this message: Apr 24 21:52:19 joy kernel: pic16c54 (PV951): I/O error (write reg2=3D0x60) Apr 24 21:52:21 joy kernel: pic16c54 (PV951): I/O error (write reg2=3D0x60) Apr 24 21:52:22 joy kernel: pic16c54 (PV951): I/O error (write reg2=3D0x10) Other information: complete /var/log/messages: Apr 24 18:25:06 joy kernel: bttv: driver version 0.7.83 loaded Apr 24 18:25:06 joy kernel: bttv: using 8 buffers with 2080k (16640k total) for capture Apr 24 18:25:06 joy kernel: bttv: Host bridge is VIA Technologies, Inc. Thanks for any hint. Petr |
