-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 hi, I'm unsing lirc to run x & xine and to control it. At startup, irexec is started as a deamon (root) an runs x & xine when pressing "power". xine runs as user. In order to disable the power button for root, while X is running, create a temp file at startup and delete it when I quit X. The script, called by irexec tests, wether the file exists. This part works. However it doesn't work in connection with lirc. lirc seems to remember this key and send it later again, so I start X again, after quitting it! Does anyone know a nicer way? I guess there is a possibility. There's something mentioned in the doku about "flags" but I don't understand how they work.
