I have a Hauppauge-based remote control. I have recently installed lirc 0.6.2. If I load the lirc_haup module and the lircd daemon, and then run irw, I find that if I *hold down* one button on the remote, I might get output such as: 0000000000001026 00 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 01 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 02 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 03 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 04 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 05 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 06 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 00 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 00 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 01 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 02 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 03 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 04 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 00 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 01 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 02 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 03 MINIMIZE Hauppauge 0000000000001026 04 MINIMIZE Hauppauge in which the repeat number seems to be occasionally incorrectly resetting to 0. When I was using lirc 0.6.0 things were fine, so as a little test I kept the 0.6.2 lirc_haup module running, and loaded the 0.6.0 lircd daemon instead. Now when I ran irw things worked properly (while I hold down a button the repeat number increments and never resets to 0). This seems to indicate that the problem is with lircd and not lirc_haup, but I could be wrong. I also tried running lircd from version 0.6.1, and got the bad results again. So it seems like the problems started with lircd 0.6.1. I am using i2c-2.5.4. Any ideas of what the problem might be? Thanks. |
