Hello! I'm trying to get the infrared receiver of a "Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro USB Audio System with THX SB1095" to work in archlinux. http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Soundblaster-Surround-System-SB1095/dp/B0044DEDCA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1324049395&sr=8-2 The IR-Receiver works in Microsoft Windows. The model number is SB1095 and the remote is a RM-820. lsusb says "Bus 002 Device 016: ID 041e:30df Creative Technology, Ltd". I can learn codes via irrecord: # sudo irrecord -d hw:Pro --driver=alsa_usb lircd.conf Finding the gap only works with arrow and volume keys. I can learn the whole remote but afterwards it doesn't work sufficiently: If I learn only two buttons the lircd.conf looks like this: ------------------------------- begin remote name lircd_new3.conf bits 8 eps 30 aeps 100 one 0 0 zero 0 0 gap 128057 toggle_bit_mask 0x0 begin codes KEY_LEFT 0x27 KEY_RIGHT 0x28 end codes end remote ------------------------------- If I run irw and press 2 times KEY_RIGHT and then 3 times KEY_LEFT I get this output: ------------------------------- # irw 0000000000000028 00 KEY_RIGHT RM-820 # <- KEY_RIGHT pressed 0000000000000028 01 KEY_RIGHT RM-820 0000000000000028 00 KEY_RIGHT RM-820 # <- KEY_RIGHT pressed 0000000000000028 01 KEY_RIGHT RM-820 0000000000000028 00 KEY_RIGHT RM-820 # <- KEY_LEFT pressed 0000000000000028 01 KEY_RIGHT RM-820 0000000000000027 00 KEY_LEFT RM-820 # <- KEY_LEFT pressed 0000000000000027 00 KEY_LEFT RM-820 # <- KEY_LEFT pressed 0000000000000027 01 KEY_LEFT RM-820 ------------------------------- The first KEY_LEFT returns a KEY_RIGHT. Sometimes it's even worse: It needs several key presses until the correct key is received. What's the reason for this? How can I fix this? Thanks in advance! Florian |
