Trying to get lirc-0.9.0 working. It installed without any obvious error message Distro is Debian/squeeze stable using kernel 2.6.38-bpo.2-amd64 I am trying to use a home brew irblaster connected to the only serial port In running setup.sh from the lirc-0.9.0 folder, I selected all of the defaults http://old.nabble.com/file/p31977724/Screenshot.png http://old.nabble.com/file/p31977724/Screenshot-1.png http://old.nabble.com/file/p31977724/Screenshot-2.png http://old.nabble.com/file/p31977724/Screenshot-3.png >From what I have read, there are some significant problems with lirc_serial; also found the item "lirc_serial_fixed"; the readme in lirc_serial_fixed states: This is a fixed (working) copy of lirc_serial for use with Linux kernels 2.6.35, 2.6.36, and 2.6.37. How do I get rid of the "hardware does not support sending" error -- View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/lirc-problems----%22irsend%3A-hardware-does-not-support-sending%22-tp31977724p31977724.html Sent from the LIRC mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
