Wanted to document my solution for removing double keypresses on my Imon ffdc device with Mythbuntu 10.10 using the 2.6.35 kernel: Imon device is set up to use devinput driver and is working courtesy of using ir-keytable to add imon_mce keymaps. To fix the double keypress problem I changed the repeat delay and repeat period times to 150ms and 250ms respectively using this command: ir-keytable -D 150 -P 250 These were originally 250 and 33 respectively and I suspect having the repeat period shorter than the repeat delay caused the double keypresses as it worked properly as long as the repeat period was greater than the repeat delay. I've added the following command to my /etc/rc.local, ir-keytable -p rc6 -w /path/to/keymap/imon_mce -D 150 -P 250 and haven't noticed a problem since. This hopefully will all go away with the next Ubuntu release, but wanted to document for anyone still experiencing this problem. dc. |
