I have no knowledge about LIRC, but I guess your report lags vital information. Also it would be great for the people on this list, if you could paste the important information from the bug report into your message to the list (with a reference to your Launchpad report), as that will make life for them easier to reply to you. Anyway, what version of LIRC did it work with, what do you have now, what configuration do you use, paste the output of Lcdproc, did you try the prerelease 0.8.7pre1?
