I am trying to convert a bunch of lirc config files to hex format for a project I am doing. I could not find ir codes for the devices I am trying to control elsewhere. Theoretically I believe I can get an IR transmitter, have lirc send codes out the transmitter, and then learn the pronto hex codes that way. I was wondering, however, it there would be an even easier way to bypass the transmitting / receiving and instead emulate the transmission and reception to receive the hex signal. If this sounds way too complicated, I will see if there is another way I could get the hex codes, but thought I would give it a try. Thanks |
