Hi Christoph I am now using a working conf file that I found in /etc/share/lirc/remote. I then start "irrecord". In the irrecord a method called "get_gap_length" gets called and it uses a "SAMPLES 80" macro to compare with a count. My count never got over 3 or 4 (whatever that means?) I decreased the SAMPLES to 3 and now I was able to create a proper conf-file It also works with "irw" if I run it as root (sudo irw) Any idea why my count never reached 80?
