Please try editing lirc_wpc8769l.h and changing the value of
WPC8769L_USECS_PER_BYTE so that it's 400 instead of 444. Then
recompile, reinstall and reload the module, and check whether the
original file lirc_CVS/remotes/creative/lircd.conf.infracd starts
behaving properly.
