I don't have any idea.

The Vista drivers for the device I own state that they support
WPC876xL and WPCE775x devices; I have just learned about your
hardware.

At least you got a response from Nuvoton; that's better than what I got.

Do you have the IR hardware working in Windows? Are there any
downloadable Windows drivers for it?

If you go to the Windows device manager and find out which resources
(I/O ranges and IRQ's) are claimed by the driver, it could give us
some clues too.

You could also disassemble your BIOS' ACPI DSDT table and see whether
any WEC1020 or WEC1021 device is declared there.
