Hi Robert, Thanks for you comment and help. I have two IR receivers: one PVR150 receiver and one in case. I do not need PVR150, but only the one in case to work. On the other hand, I would not mind getting both of these receivers to function with my PVR150 remote. This receiver in the case is according to the producer working only with MCE remotes, which means that I should use in lirc "mceusb" or "mceusb2" drivers. I will try that today and get back to you, but I actually do not expect to get it working, because it should function with MCE remote and not with PVR150. There are existing MCE config files (/etc/lircd.conf) on the net, and I know which codes ir-receiver expects. If I would be able to get my remote to work with the ir-receiver in the case, there is still a question is it possible wake up the machine with this remote, because the ir-receiver expects some predefined codes from the power button on the MCE remote.
