Ar X10 Remote Control

Hello Lirc Users,
I try a AR X10 Remote Control with USB Stick with my Fedora Core 6 or
Mythdora 4. The function is given, but a call will be answerd only every
second click on the RC. I tried with irw with the same result. When I did a
irrecord, every click was recognized by the computer. When I used the new
lirc.conf it answers again only after every second click. Please help
