I got an ione/itron libra q11 "MCE" remote. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. I can load the module lirc_mceusb2 fine and it recognizes the receiver part and creates a /dev/lirc0 file. If I "cat /dev/lirc0" I get lots of data (OK gibberish, I'm catting data stream). lircd doesn't complain when I start it. However, irw produces no output when I press buttons. I also tried irrecord to see if I could create a new lircd.conf, but I only got: irrecord: could not find gap. irrecord: gap not found, can't continue Can anyone help? -- James Klaas "Let me tell you something my friend.
