lirc stop sending events after I open tvtime

Hi!
I installed lirc from sources.  I use it to read the remote controll from a
sabrent bt878 tv card.
I start irexec (previously configured) and push the power button.  Tvtime
starts and then lirc stops sending events.
After I close tvtime by hand, lirc continues working.
The same occurrs with kdetv, so I think it could be a configurarion error.

Can someone help me?
