A couple of things: 1. When following the irrecord instructions, it says to hold the remote buttons for approximately one second. When I did this, the resulting config detected the same signal no matter what button was pressed. I rerecorded and pressed the buttons for a much shorter time frame which resulted in all the buttons being detected. The problem now is that when I press them they don't always give consistent results (ie sometimes the button press is detected other times it goes undetected). Is there something I can do to fix this? 2. There is a remote config file for the apple remote and I have a feeling that it would likely solve my problem if I could get it to work. I've tried using the apple config but nothing is detected. Do I have to do something special to use it? Thanks again Kier |
