When i am starting lirc i am getting : #lircd -n lircd: lircd(pcmak_usb) ready lircd: accepted new client on /dev/lircd lircd: readlink() failed for "/dev/lirc" lircd: No such file or directory lircd: could not create lock files lircd: caught signal Terminated I dont have any device like "/dev/lirc" only /dev/lircd and /dev/lircm I am having "PCMAK USB receiver" according to lirc web it doesnt need any kernel module.
