"Microsoft MCE remote" huh?

I just got a "Microsoft MCE" of ebay, only I don't think it truely is.

lsusb says:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0bc7:0006 X10 Wireless Technology, Inc.


When I plug it into gentoo I get:

However I am not sure how to drive it, and Google, in this case, doesn't 
appear to be my friend.

Anyone know anything about this?  Nothing new appears to show up in 
/dev/input
