I'm having trouble with lirc and the imon IR (+vfd) that came in a new thermaltake case. I've built the lastest release and installed onto a fully up to date FC5 system. I get the following in my dmesg when I modprobe lirc_dev and lirc_imon: lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, at major 61 lirc_imon: no version for "lirc_unregister_plugin" found: kernel tainted. /root/lirc-0.8.1/drivers/lirc_imon/lirc_imon.c: Driver for Soundgraph iMON MultiMedian IR/VFD, v0.3 /root/lirc-0.8.1/drivers/lirc_imon/lirc_imon.c: Venky Raju <de...@ve...> usbcore: registered new interface driver lirc_imon However no devices are created in /dev: [root@localhost ~]# ls -l /dev/lir* ls: /dev/lir*: No such file or directory I know the IR is working to at least a basic level because I can use the remote to power on the computer. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks, -- Tom Seeley |
