irrecord

Does anyone have any hints on what to do if you 
have generated A LOT of conf files using irrecord 
and none of them output IR signals correctly to a 
receiver?

On this same machine, I have used irrecord and 
generated confs for 2 other remotes with IR out 
and the devices work fine... it's just this one 
particular remote/receiver combo that I can't get 
working and it almost seems like each time I run 
irrecord I get a different file, the button 
presses are all the same, but the header info 
changes... when I run mode2 it seems like the data 
is inconsistent also.

I'm at a total loss here. I couldn't get WinLIRC 
to work on my Windows box with this USB receiver 
or I would have tried that too. The receiver is 
not in the remotes section of the site and I have 
tried using other Denon remote confs (but none for 
this specific remote) and also tried using the 
generic Denon as a template... nothing is working.
