Hello, I have a remote control connected to the serial port on my Linux box. The remote is a Kanam Accent, the receiver is based on the AT89C2051-24PI chip, and it seems that it communicates on the serial port at 2400 8N1. I would like to know the tech details of the existing drivers (e.g. pinsys or pixelwiev), so I can start modifying the closer one. Is there a wiki or some references? I recorded the serial with minicom: - The bytes received for each key are variables in quantity. - Holding a key pressed, after the code I receive a sequence of 30 FE 30 FE ... - Sometimes the code is prefixed with a byte where the highest bit is set. Does some existing driver resemble this behavior? Here it is an excerpt of the dump: 1 e0 4b 4b 42 86 08 4b 48 08 43 42 06 30 fe 2 f0 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 43 4b 08 43 42 06 30 fe 3 ff 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 4b 43 42 06 30 fe 4 fc 4b 4b 42 86 08 4b 43 08 48 42 06 30 fe 5 c0 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 4b 08 48 42 06 30 fe 6 80 4b 4b 42 86 08 4b 48 42 06 30 fe 7 f8 4b 4b 42 86 08 4b 08 4b 42 b6 08 ff 30 fe 8 f8 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 43 5a 43 5a 86 ff 30 fe 9 f0 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 5a 48 5a 86 ff 30 fe 0 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 4b 48 08 08 48 02 80 30 fe win ff 4b 4b 42 86 08 4b 4b 08 08 48 02 80 30 fe menu 4b 4b 42 86 08 48 4b 5a 86 08 ff 30 fe vol- f0 4b 4b 42 86 08 43 42 b6 2d 08 08 ff 30 fe vol+ fc 4b 4b 42 86 08 08 4b 48 43 42 06 30 fe ... Note: I used a patched version of pinsys driver by Leandro Dardini, but with this patch the repeat does not work. -- Niccolo Rigacci Firenze - Italy Iraq, missione di pace: 55136 morti - www.iraqbodycount.net |
