I cannot insert lirc_gpio module !!!

Hi ALL,

On my Slackware-11.0,
("uname -a"=Linux marianciuc 2.6.17.13 #1 Fri Oct 13 14:44:08 EEST 2006 
i686 athlon-4 i386 GNU/Linux)

I installed lirc-0.8.1pre2 whithout any error, because I want to use 
remote of my TV tuner
Ledteck WinFast 2000/XP Expert.

I have this error, when I try to insert lirc_gpio module:
bash-3.1# modprobe lirc_gpio
FATAL: Error inserting lirc_gpio 
(/lib/modules/2.6.17.13/misc/lirc_gpio.ko): Invalid request code

NOTICE: TV tuner work fine, without LIRC...... :-(( , but I want LIRC...

PLEASE, what is wrong ??  :-((
