As I now need to generate my own lircd.conf file, I have tried to run irrecord. This gives the following output: # irrecord -d --device=device /dev/lirc irrecord: error in configfile line 1 irrecord: file "/dev/lirc" does not contain valid data What would be causing this and how can I fix it?
