-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, i'm pretty new here. I recently bought a really cheap serial IR reciever module from eBay and am trying to get it to work with several Sony remote controls and LIRC 0.8.0 on Gentoo. The module seems to work, but i can't get it to recognize my remote controls properly. irrecord would all the time record raw codes which, when trying with irw, would be recognized as the same key press for different keys. With one file from the remotes repository i can get it to behave better, but then it always only randomly recognizes a key every now and then. When looking at the mode2 output, i can see that the 12 data bits seem to be ok (resieved with little error variance), but the first puls seems to vary from 50ms to 4500ms, where it should be 2400ms constantly. It all seems like too much interference, but what can i do about that? Has anyone gotten it working with a Sony RM-D15M or RM-U252? Thanks a lot for all answers.
