Hi everyone, I seem to have some problems with my Leadtek WinFast TV 2000 remote (lirc_gpio) under my kernel 2.6.10 based LinuxFromScratch system. I'm used to use lircd and irexec to run various applications under Slackware and it works perfectly there. However here (under LFS) i get double keypresses when i push some of the buttons on my remote (these include basic ones like "1" "2" "3" etc.). I have read Documentation/video4linux/README.ir in my kernel source tree and it says there that the bttv driver registers the remote as keyboard within the linux input layer, and that i'll see the keys of the remote as normal key strokes. So i guess this is the reason why i get those duble keypresses: the first one comes directly from bttv and the second one - from lirc. The most interesting part is that my Slackware also runs on a kernel from 2.6 series and as i mentioned before everything works ok there. I'd like to know if there's a way to prevent bttv from registering remote as a keyboard, or just preventing the keyboard to get events from my remote. Or maybe i should try to contact bttv author instead? Thank you very much. P.S. Sorry for my poor English |
