Is there anything special I need to do to get lircmd running with xorg instead of XFree? I'm running Fedora Core 2 with a generic 2.6.9 kernel. I have my lircd.conf and lircmd.conf - snippets below - and the xorg.conf set up as per the lirc.org page, but the mouse is not recognized. lircd.conf: up 0x0000000000004AB5 left 0x000000000000CE31 down 0x0000000000000AF5 right 0x000000000000EE11 ok 0x0000000000003AC5 lircmd.conf: PROTOCOL IntelliMouse ACCELERATOR 2 30 5 MOVE_N * up MOVE_E * right MOVE_S * down MOVE_W * left BUTTON1_CLICK * OK xorg.conf: Section "ServerLayout" Identifier "Default Layout" Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0 InputDevice "Mouse0" "CorePointer" InputDevice "LIRC-Mouse" InputDevice "Keyboard0" "CoreKeyboard" EndSection Section "InputDevice" Identifier "LIRC-Mouse" Driver "mouse" Option "Device" "/dev/lircm" Option "Protocol" "IntelliMouse" Option "SendCoreEvents" Option "Buttons" "5" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" EndSection The modules are loaded, I'm running both lird and lircmd, but ther is no movement of the cursor. Mode2 shows data flowing... Is there any way to test lircmd? Anything else I can look at to debug this?
