Hi - I've looked through the FAQ and the HOWTO, but they haven't been updated in quite a while. The SourceForge archive for this list seems to have stopped in April, so no help there. Can someone quickly summarize the state of lirc today? I'm running Mandrake, and they're still officially distributing v0.6.6. I know that 0.7 is required for supporting things such as the MCE USB remote and other features. Some LIRC drivers now appear to be in the 2.6 kernel, others aren't. (At least as distributed in the Mandrake kernel RPM) 1. Are all the drivers now supposed to be in the kernel, meaning that I've got a Mandrake issue? 2. Compiling lirc CVS with a linux kernel 2.6.6 source tree seems to be failing because it's looking for a wrapper.h file which doesn't appear to exist. Thanks, Bob |
