Hi, Well, I've decided to take the plunge and get the parts needed for a homebrew IR device. Building it is no trouble, but I'd like to get the parts right. I'm buying enough for 10 receivers at the moment, and this is what I have from DigiKey.ca: 4065PHCT-ND CAP 63V 4.7UF ELECT AXIAL 1N4148DICT-ND DIODE SWITCHING 75V 500MW DO-35 A1001-ND CONN D-SUB HOUSING RECEPT 9POS 296-1365-1-ND IC 5.0V 100MA REGULATOR TO-92 PNA4602M-ND PHOTO IC INFRARED 38.0KHZ 4.7KQBK-ND RES 4.7K OHM 1/4W 5% CARBON FILM It all comes out to about $50 before shipping, which could easily be covered after selling some extra units, etc., so I'm not worried about the price. Just want to know if I'm getting the right things! -- Cameron |
