I'm trying to use Aqsis 1.2 with Liquid 1.8, and I'm finding that I can't get Liquid to access the Aqsis shader parameters. That is, when I assign a Liquid Surface shader and pick an Aqsis shader, I get an error message ("syntax error") and no dialog under "Parameters". I've also tried using Liquid 1.8 with 3Delight and its shaders, and it seems to work fine.
Additional information: I'm using Windows XP Professional on a PIV 3 GHz computer with 1 GB RAM. Aqsis is installed properly, in that I can render from the command line or using Liquid. The trouble is that all of my objects are flat grey. The problem is not just limited to surface shaders. Light or displacement shaders also fail to load parameters.
Incidentally, I'd love to have Liquid work smoothly with Aqsis, which I prefer to use over 3Delight. If you need a bug-tester for Aqsis compatibility, I'm your man.

Oh, yes -- I'm using Maya 7.0.
